This article will serve as a quick introduction to trading with the help of algorithms.

The target audience will be developers already familiar with programming languages (Javascript or Python) looking to get into trading stock (and soon crypto) with algorithms.

The focus of this article will not be so much on programming itself, but rather on aspects of operating the Algodab environment. Some basic concepts will be explained such as: where do we get the data from? what brokerages are supported? what is a margin and why it is needed - if at all? what is a strategy? etc. etc., All in terms of how those terms are used and understood in Algodab environment.

This article will serve as a quick introduction to programming with focus on algotrading.

The target audience will be those users who are not necessarily programmers but are not afraid of a small script here and there. Programming languages have come a long way to the extent that they are fairly easy to comprehend with a little bit of instruction. You don't need complex degrees in computer science to quickly get up to speed with some basic programming concepts.
